Hanover, 6 June 2024 – The Tire Cologne 2024 ended with a very good result on Thursday, 6 June 2024. 430 exhibitors from 35 countries came together at the most important industry platform with around 14,400 participants from 109 countries. Around 65 per cent of visitors came from abroad, most of them from Italy, the Netherlands, the UK and France, but also increasingly from Eastern Europe, such as Poland and Romania. International trade visitors from China, the USA, the United Arab Emirates, Morocco and Israel were strongly represented. The Tire Cologne this year proved itself not only as an outstanding B2B platform that connects international tire and wheel manufacturers with tire wholesalers and the specialist trade, but also as a place for exchanging ideas, advancing innovations and shaping the future of the industry.

China's most elegant luxury sedan Hongqi L5 ex works on Linglong Tire
Hannover | Beijing, 1 November 2023 – Linglong Tire has been equipping Hongqi, the oldest and most luxurious Chinese automobile manufacturer, which is part of the Chinese state-owned company FAW and translates as “Red Flag”, with original equipment tires from the factory for over 20 years. The luxury sedan Hongqi L5 is equipped ex works with Linglong tires in size 275/40 R20 106W, Linglong is also the original equipment supplier for the two sister models Hongqi L7 and L9. While the two models Hongqi L7 and L9 are only used for Chinese state guests, Hongqi builds the L5 model on request for around 600.000 Euros including a lifetime guarantee for well-heeled private customers. The handcrafted L5 is powered by either a 6.0-liter V12 or a 4.0-liter V8, but is currently not offered in Europe.

New Linglong Tire LED board in Volkswagen Arena
Hannover | Wolfsburg, 1 November 2023 – The new Linglong Tire LED board was used for the first time at VfL Wolfsburg's home game against Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the Volkswagen Arena end of October. The Volkswagen Arena has been the Wolves' home stadium since 2002 and offers space for almost 29.000 visitors, including 1.434 business seats, 31 boxes and around 100 disabled-accessible spaces. The perimeter animation was made much more modern and dynamic, the Linglong Tire lettering was adjusted, and the new Linglong UHP tire Sport Master was integrated into the perimeter image. The new boards will now also be used in the neighboring AOK Stadium, the home stadium of the VfL Wolfsburg women's team.
